Better Bay Society Structure

BBS Meeting Schedule

  • Planning Meetings are held twice a year in January and July

BBS Meeting Ground Rules

  • Meetings are open to Members only.

  • Members will create an environment that enables all members to openly and respectfully exchange information and ideas.

  • Don’t be a jerk

BBS Membership

  • Membership is currently closed

  • Membership is based on participation. With a suggestion of quarterly participation

  • Friends of the Bay - People who are non-members that participate in BBS organized events

BBS Events

  • To be classified as a BBS event, at least one officer must be present

  • BBS events are held once a month for a minimum total of 12 per year


Better Bay Society Leadership Roles and Responsibilities

Society Coordinator - Plans and coordinates BBS events, campaigns, meetings, and membership. Manages BBS strategies and agendas

IT Coordinator - Manages BBS website, assists officers and members with email and any additional IT troubleshooting

Social Media Manager - Runs BBS social media accounts, monitors info@betterbaysociety.org email, coordinates BBS campaigns and info releases

Secretary - Documents all meeting minutes and assists in research for BBS

Treasurer - Records all monetary movement from donations to disbursements
